A Bafana Bafana fan supporting the team at the fanpark in Belville. Bafana Bafana drew with Mexico 1-1. I went to the fan Park yesterday to watch the festivities before the match, and the match itself. It was crowded and noisy, yet one of the most friendly and exciting environments that I have ever been in. It was like a massive group of friends getting together to party!

To say that that atmosphere is electric would be an under-statement. Everybody is so excited about the games, waving South African flags, wearing Bafana Bafana shirts, and blowing their vuvuzela’s. It really is a uniting of our nation, and of Africa as well.
