Kalk Bay Harbour (watercolour)

Lots of people have said that my recent Kalk Bay Harbour shot would make a nice painting, well with a little help from a friend (PhotoShop), here is the watercolour :-) Which version do you prefer?

I love the water color version! But either is beautiful. Boats and water are my weakness.

This is my first stop here and I’m impressed. Hopefully, you’ll check out my blog(s) so we’ll be able to share our love of photography.

Thanks Lowell for stopping by, and glad you like the pictures. Anything to do with boats and the sea work for me :-) Please come back soon. Off to visit your site now.

I have ordered a canvas print of the photo, so I will let you know how it looks. I do think that the lighting was wonderful though.

  3. The Watercolour version is just amazingly beautiful Craig. Kalk Bay is justifiably popular not only with photographers, but most of Cape Town and you captured some of the romance of the harbour at sunset so well.

Thanks, yes I still love to go to Kalk Bay and buy fish off the boats. And every time I go there I tell myself “enough photos of the harbour”, but well, there are always more pics. Thanks for the visit.
