Just a lovely little town we drove though somewhere in the mountains of Greece.

It is not often that Cape Town is so quiet. This was taken on the Kirstenhof green belt, with the Silvermine mountains in the background and reflecting off the Westlake River.
While wondering around the hills of Zakopane we came across this lively little A-frame house. It is so small and cute, and it looks like the perfect place to spend a few relaxing` days.
I took this photo from Muizenberg Peak, just above Lakeside. I see this mountain from my bedroom window, but it as a magic peak for a trail-run destination. My house is in the little suburb on the bottom left, just below the grass in front of the lake. The lake is actually an estuary that is fed from many of the rivers the flow off the mountain. It empties into the sea on the right, at Muizenberg beach.
Here are a few more pics from the run.
False Bay
Part of the trail
I saw this written on the trail. Just something nice, and in a zen way – impermanent.

Silvermine West is once again after last year’s fire. So I could finally go running on one of my favourite trails – up the old wagon trail to the dam and back. The devastation from the fire is saddening – there is not a single part of the trail where you don’t see massive fire damage.
But the good news is the regeneration. It will take a long time to get back to how to it was, but regrowth is clearly happening.
