Yes, this is really the 1000th post on my blog. Who would have thought that I have kept it going for so long? Thanks to all you readers who have helped my keep it going.
Anyway, last night I was messing around with self-portraits, and I came up with this shot which I kind of like. I was trying to get a magazine editorial look, and I think I pulled it off. What do you think?

Self-taken shot of me playing my bass guitar. Her name is (and has been for many years) “Galadriel”, and she is a six-string solid through neck bass with active pre-amp. By the way if you are interested, you can listen to some of the stuff that Lois and I have done over the years here.
