Well, sunrises just rock at this time of year; I just can’t help myself! Hope you enjoy it, we have having wonderful weather in Cape Town after the very wet time we had last weekend.

I saw these guys paragliding yesterday just off Baden Powell Drive. It was fascinating to watch them launching themselves off a very low cliff just above the beach. The thermals must have been very strong, because as they jumped, they almost shop up vertically into the air.
It looked so graceful and peaceful, a wonderful way to spend a still day in Cape Town.

To take these shots I was strapped into the passenger seat of a helicopter, and my door was removed so that I could get clear shots, while it was a little scary it was a wonderful experience flying in such an open environment.
This is truly the most beautiful city in the world.
